  • Created in the Image of God (61 min.) Listen
The text for this message, delivered on October 12, 2008, is from Ephesians chapter 2, which deals with the subject of what happens when we are born again. Find out why everyone who has seen someone born again has witnessed a resurrection.
  • The Tabernacle (63 min.) Listen
The design and function of the Tabernacle given to Moses by God on the mountain has much to tell us about ourselves. In this message given on November 2, 2008 I consider the Tabernacle and what it has to teach us about how God created us to be.
  • The Heart (62 min.) Listen
What does the Bible mean when it speaks of the heart, and the prophet says, "The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?" This is a study of what God has to say about our heart as found in Jeremiah 16:19-17:18.
  • Grace (52 min.) Listen
What is grace? The unmerited favor of God? Yes, but much, much more. Grace is like a diamond--every time you look at it you see something different. This message explores some of those facets.
  • Hope (57 min.) Listen
"Now abide faith, hope and love, these three ..." Hope is foundational to faith, and yet it seems to get much less attention. This message on hope will be an encouragement to you.
  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit (63 min.) Listen
John the Baptizer prophesied that Jesus would baptise us in the Holy Spirit. Yet there are many misunderstandings and misconceptions of what the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is. Let this message be a blessing to you. (In the opening illustration I baptized the sponge into a bucket of water so that it was thoroughly infused with water.)
  • Resurrection of the Body (61 min.) Listen
Resurrection of the body is one of the six foundation stones mentioned in Hebrews 6:1-3. The resurrection of Jesus caused much more consternation among unbelievers in the early church than the crucifixion of Jesus did. Yet we as the church talk much more about the cross than the resurrection. Learn more of what the resurrection of Jesus means for you and me.
  • Growing up -- in the Lord (68 min.) Listen
This message is taken from Ephesians 4:11-24, and reviews the process of growing in the Lord so we are "no longer ... children, tossed here and there ... by every wind of doctrine." It is a vital message to be heard by every believer young in spiritual things.
  • Living Stones in the House of God (40 min.) Listen
Peter writes that we, "as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood." (1 Peter 2:5) Learn what a "living stone" is and how it is used to build a solid house. (Intro by Milford Lyndaker.)

Hope: "Now abide faith, hope and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." (I Cor 13:13) Many sermons and messages have been given on faith and love, but few on hope. Yet hope is essential to faith. In the coming days it will be hope that sustains believers.

Resurrection of the Dead: This is a part of a series of sermons examining the six foundation stones of our faith as given in Hebrews 6:1-3.
